I’m a DEATHSCRIBE

DS09_smWildClaw has released the lineup of the 2nd Annual International DEATHSCRIBE Festival of Horror Radio Plays.

I’m am thrilled to report that my entry, THE SKINNY MAN, survived two rounds of judging from the company and guest directors, and will be directed by Katie McLean of Lifeline Theatre and Black Sheep Productions.

DEATHSCRIBE is one of the most fun and unique events I’ve ever seen in Chicago (or anywhere).  People in the company have described it as “A Prairie Home Companion, but with horror.”  The 5 selected plays will receive a live radio production, right there on the stage complete with actors on the mic, foley artists and band creating the nightmares right there in person for the delight of all in attendance.  A panel of celebrity judges from the horror and theatre communities will be on hand to crown a Best of Fest (the “Bloody Axe” Award).  And it’s at the Music Box Theatre, which is just plain cool.  I’m very excited to be taking part in this year’s festival.
